Protected is a french company that sells cybsecurity solutions. They contacted me for a series of editorial illustrations to adorn paid articles on various themes around cybersecurity.

I decided to go with lighthearted, fun, and dynamic drawings in order to keep a safe and reassuring atmosphere while talking about subjects that can create a bit of insecurity / anxiety (ransomware, online bullying, identity theft, …). As for the illustration style, I went with Alegreya styled characters to further create that sense of confort and playfulness. It is a style that is very widespread in tech companies for that reason.

I was recontacted to animate some of the characters from the previous illustrations. It had to be simple loops they could use in lottie format on the homepage of their website.
